Breakfast on Carbs day: The breakfast is identical each day excluding the water days. It must consist of one type of fruit OR neutral vegetable (without any spices or supplements). It is allowed to add a spoon of honey to your morning coffee or tea. If you are hungry you may have more than one breakfast a day, but you must allow at least two hours between the meals. It is not recommended to mix different types of fruits or veggies at breakfast, i.e. one type of fruit or vegetable counts as one meal, including the fruit or vegetable juice consumption. Do not limit your food choice: it is good to have a variety of foods every day.
Some fruits, apples for instance, irritate the stomach especially when eaten as a first meal for the day. We advise you to try different fruit or vegetable, if you experience such symptoms.
And no, it is not true that you may eat cake all day long!
Lunch: Consume vegetarian foods, prepared with flour, such as hominy, corn or buckwheat flour, couscous, egg-free pasta, oat flakes and bran, flour and semolina of various cereals, dough products, meat free pizza, bagels, salty buns or pancakes, salty pastry. You may also have a salad made of neutral vegetables only.
Dinner: Have a piece of cake or 3 small pastries, or 3 ice cream balls. A row of dark chocolate is a must. If you do not like sweets, you could have a salty dinner and consume the same meal you had for lunch, but reduce the amount of food by half and do not skip the dark chocolate. The latter is a very strong antioxidant, which also reduces the appetite and has a laxative effect.
Allow at least 3 hours between the lunch and the dinner.
