About protein and amino acids
Protein makes up the structure of all cells and tissues in the body, including muscle tissue, internal organs, tendons, skin, hair and nails.
Amino acids are the “building blocks” of protein and there are 20 of them. 12 of these can be made in the body and so are referred to as non-essential amino acids, while the other 8 are known as essential amino acids (as they must be sourced from the diet).
Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid and is the most abundant free amino acid in muscle cells.
It is a molecule that our body stores in the skeletal muscles and bloodstream, and converts into glucose (blood sugar) when it is needed.
L-Glutamine, the natural form of glutamine, is synthesised from 3 other amino acids: ornithine, arginine and proline. It is also a component of glutathione, a nutrient present in virtually every cell.
Our body’s own levels of glutamine can come under strain in circumstances of metabolic stress, including injuries, illness and even severe emotional distress.

Is a must as an aid to digestion. Mixes easily and has helped me no end.
As described and delivered in good time. Cannot see how the service could be any better. I cannot say anything more other than a great product at a reasonable price .
Great for digestion but really good for muscle repair and fatigue. I take a tsp a day and have noticed less muscle ache and swifter healing following viceroys exercise
I am still taking this so not sure if it’s working though I do feel alot better so fingers crossed
I started kick-boxing three weeks ago. After my first day, I was stiff as a board and I felt ill. I was aching for days upon days after. My friend informed me about L-Glutamine so I purchased some from this really good seller. It arrived on the day I had my next lesson, so I added 10grams to my protein shake and off I went to practice. When practice ended I mixed up my shake and took it, no funny taste from the Glutamine because it has no real taste. I wasn’t sure if it would even make a difference. I woke up the next day and I wasn’t aching at all! In fact I felt REALLY good. If you need something a little more than protein this is the stuff! If you have an injury this stuff aids recovery really well my friend told me to. This seems like a magic concoction but it’ s pure science and fact!
Absolutely no nasty taste, mixes with drinks super-easily and seems to be helping with symptoms. No real reason not to give it 5 stars, but want to save that accolade for something that offers a permanent cure to CFS 🙂
