Simple Peach Crisps For Everyone
Ingredients
Filling
- 1 – 16 oz. can sliced peaches, packed in juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons palm or coconut sugar
Topping
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons palm or coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
- 2 tablespoons coconut butter
Instructions
- Drain peaches and keep liquid.
- In a small pan, mix cornstarch with just enough water to dissolve it. Mix in cinnamon and sugar.
- Add liquid from peaches and cook over medium heat. Stir constantly. When mixture boils, boil for 1 more minute or until thickened.
- Remove sauce from heat and add peaches. Place peach mixture into a 1-quart baking dish.
- Make topping. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, allspice and lemon peel.
- Mash in the butter with fork until mixture is crumbly.
- Sprinkle topping over peaches.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes until topping is brown.
