Simple Peach Crisps For Everyone



  • 1 – 16 oz. can sliced peaches, packed in juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons palm or coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons palm or coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons coconut butter


  1. Drain peaches and keep liquid.
  2. In a small pan, mix cornstarch with just enough water to dissolve it. Mix in cinnamon and sugar.
  3. Add liquid from peaches and cook over medium heat. Stir constantly. When mixture boils, boil for 1 more minute or until thickened.
  4. Remove sauce from heat and add peaches. Place peach mixture into a 1-quart baking dish.
  5. Make topping. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, allspice and lemon peel.
  6. Mash in the butter with fork until mixture is crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle topping over peaches.
  8. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes until topping is brown.
