ROAST CHICKEN WITH ALMONDS

Ingredients
  • 10 organic chicken breast halves
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. dry white wine, or water or other liquid
  • Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Spread chicken in very lightly greased baking dish.
  2. Cover with 2/3 of the almonds.
  3. Mix soups with wine.
  4. Pour over chicken and almonds.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and then sprinkle remaining almonds over.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours uncovered.
  7. Serves 8 to 10.
